Year 6 visitors for DT
Soap Box Derby Racers visit Year 6
On Wednesday 17th April, Year 6 were visited by Dave and Jim, Soap Box racers, to provide them with some top tips for their upcoming DT project. Dave began by surprising the year group with his 1950s Soap Box that he had made as child. The children then had a chance to look at pictures of the many Soap Box racers that Dave has made himself, since 2016. The children asked a range of inquisitive questions and a few lucky ones were even able to have a ride in a 1950s buggy on a flat surface. Mrs Collins may have also been greatly encouraged by the children to have a go as well.
