On Thursday 29th March 2024, local farmer, Mr Chris Collins, came into school to speak to Year 6 about being a farmer. He captivated the pupils with his tales about working on a huge farm in America and driving many different machines, including tractors and combines. He went on to explain why farmers need our help and what he is doing to diversify the farm. However, the highlight of the morning was when he revealed that he had come on his tractor. Remarks of "It's huge!" and "It's massive!" could be heard as the pupils walked down to see it.
